Two wires of memory alloy are fixed on metal parts as shown above. In general, it is extremely difficult to insert decoration parts into this type of metal parts.
By making good use of elasticity of silicone, it becomes easy to put on the decoration parts as if to pull on socks.
By putting a sillicone component inbetween 2 sheets of metal temples, the frame can look attractive with an interesting touch feeling of sillicone.
When a thin metal sheet is used for a front, lens processing becomes more difficult because grooves have to be processed on the lens.
We recommend using SPR for protection of lenses. SPR is very thin (0.5mm in diameter). However, it does not break even if it is pulled by a weight of approximately 400g.
We have two different sizes of SPR which are SPR27 (27mm in diameter) and SPR32 (32mm in diameter).
Sillicone is one of the best materials for nose pads because it is an anti-slip and non-allergic material.
Mush Pad which is made with an injectioon mould is safe, comfortable and very durable. It never breaks.
Wing Pad which is a sillicone pad with a stainless core wire inserted can be adjusted its stainless part. Therefore, we recommend using this Wing pad for plastic frames.
It is possible to make nose pads with an original design at a very reasonable mould cost.
